MLO 1: Exercise 1: Quantify Data (10%) and Exercise 2: L.A.T.C.H Infographic (10%)
Instructions
After discussing with my friends what objects to bring for visualising and quantifying data projects, some mentioned Legos and Buttons. I've decided to go with coins from different series. My indicators would be in the form of a table highlighting the different raw materials used to create coins from different generations/series of Malaysian Coins.

Exercise 2: L.A.T.C.H Infographic
Instead of going with Pokemon or other topics with compiled data for this infographic. I've decided to use topics that I love to make it more fun. It was a choice between Game of Thrones or Avatar: The Last Airbender but the latter is the choice that I went with due to its colourful but light graphical elements.
Visual Inspirations:
Figure 1.2 - Logo of the Avatar: The Last Airbender show
Figure 1.3 - Fan Art of the Avatar's Map by Sam Ream
Figure 1.4 - Fan Art of the Avatar's Elemental Symbols by Evaron
Progress:
The elemental bending symbols and map tracing were mainly done with the Pencil Tool, Curvature Tool, Ellipse Tool, and Direct Selection Tool in Adobe Illustrator
Background Wallpaper - I was inspired by the Louis Vuitton Monogram and decided to do the same for my infographic. I duplicated and replicated the 'Energy Bending' symbol for the pattern because, without the centre of it all, there will be no other elemental bending without Energy Bending. Acts as symbolism to the whole story.

Instead of creating symbols as much as the fan-made elemental sub-bendings as shown in the visual inspiration section above, I've decided to do only a few of the main ones that were highlighted by Avatar: The Last Airbender themselves through a posting in their social media.
