Assignment 01: Proposal
Dr. Jinchi:
Hi Firas, below is my feedback for your proposal: The proposal is quite well written, supported by relevant research. The research problem is sound, paired with a working research question and research objective. Do make sure that the references are in alphabetical order. You do not have to redo this assignment. Changes are to be included in the Final Report (Assignment 4).
Assignment 02: Critical Review
Dr. Jinchi:
Hi Firas, the following is my feedback for your Critical Review. The selected articles are well within the last 5 years and they are suitable for the research topic. The review is rather thorough and the evaluation, where applicable, is sound. The student effectively writes his evaluation in areas where he deems would need some improvement. Do include a space in between different bibliographies to set them apart. You can make this change in the Final Report (Assignment 4).
Assignment 03: Research Implementation - Primary Data
Dr. Jinchi:
Hi Firas, here's my feedback for your Assignment 3:
Selection of method (Survey): Suitable.
Justifications: Done clearly for the questions but could also do so for the "Who" (participants).
Relevance of implementation: Although data is not up to the minimum requirement, the current collected primary data is described and analysed with much clarity.
You do not need to redo this assignment. Improvements can be made in the Final Report (Assignment 4).

Week 02:
Specific Feedback: The chosen research should either be the Impact of Emotional Designs on the User Experience in Digital Interfaces or the Cultural aspects that may influence emotional responses to design elements.
Cannot be both because sometimes Emotional Aspects and Cultural Aspects may not have that relationship between the two because the latter is more personal.
Rephrase the Research Problem, Research Objective, Research Questions and Research Problem Statement to fully direct into one of the aspects rather than both.
Find more updated references instead of referencing old ones. Newer ones might have more updated research done on the topic."

Specific Feedback: To add in citations preferably from the last 5 years to capture recent developments on the research topic area. Recheck the Research Problem Statement into 3 paragraphs and in more detailed way. Other than that, this proposal is ready for submission.

Specific Feedback: My writing style is concise and not repeating too much of the content. The critique is thorough and itemised well. Papers used are also recent which is also great. Only need to fix grammatical errors and rephrasing certain phrases to make it more understandable and clear.

Week 09:
Specific Feedback: Ensure that the written justifications relate back to the research objective instead of giving a general justification to justify the questions’ existence in the survey.
However, it was mentioned that my survey was ready to be made public. Justifications can be made while the survey is out for respondents. Have 3 websites for users to review instead of only one.
Week 10:
Specific Feedback: I have shared the number of respondents with my lecturer and am practically done with Assignment 03 except for the waiting time for more respondents to come in to kickstart the data analysis. I have also been briefed on Assignment 04 and was advised to start drafting it during the class since I won't be having any more feedback sessions for the rest of the day.
Week 11:
Specific Feedback: My questions regarding the formatting of Assignment 03 were answered so that I could submit the assignment by the deadline due. Questions regarding the slide design of Assignment 04 were asked also for confirmation before starting with the assignment.
Week 12:
Specific Feedback: The planning of the slide designs is okay but with minor changes to the terms used. Slide design was also shown in the feedback session for guidance. Everything that was planned was given approval for the following steps.

Specific Feedback: Slide designs are good to go, The number of pages planned is well thought out and within the acceptable range.
