Final Project: Animated Infographic Video - Burnout

1. Tasks Delegation

We delegated our tasks according to each other's strengths and requests so that the flow will be smoother in such a short period of time due to the 1-week delay from the Japan trip we had for the Intercultural Design module.

2. Final Mood Board

We met virtually to finalise our visions and goals for this animation group project. This was what we came up with for the character style, fonts, colour palette and also multiple inspirations from other sources out there.

3. Final Storyboards

One of the weeks, we were tasked to create an animatic version of the animation to see how the scenes come together despite it being just in the sketching stage and gather feedback from our lecturer.

After breaking down the scripts and also compiling animatic slides, it's easier for us to assemble it this way in Google Sheets so we could refer back when needed for future tasks and progressions.

The picture attached below is my own frames that I have to sketch after the task delegation the other day. Our group leader compiled everyone's frames and turn them into a frame-by-frame animation to see how everything goes in a general view.

4. Character Design Sheet

When we were in the illustrating stage of the project, I volunteered to do the character design for the Narrator, Main Character, and Friend 1 while the remaining two is for my friend to illustrate.

We also divided our group into two teams, one will be handling the illustration aspect and the other is handling the animation aspect of the project. That way, we are able to focus on our strengths and tasks more efficiently.

This sheet highlights all of the characters that will be appearing in the final animation video;

5. Final Illustrations (Compiled)

The other 2 members of the illustration team were not handling the character designs, they were doing the illustration assets for the background and so on, They were the ones to compile these final illustrations into one file for a final overview before animating it.
