FINAL PROJECT: STOP MOTION

Since this is a group project, I formed a group on campus with a friend of mine, Georgina. She will be my Final Project partner. We both created a group chat on Whatsapp and begin discussing our rough plot and the theme of our stop-motion animation.

Proposal:

This proposal attached includes the storyline, reference/mood board and the storyboard that were instructed to create before starting on our animation. After Georgina and I got approval from the lecturer, we booked a day on our free day to film in the studio.

Planning:

Right after we got approval for our Proposal stage, we brainstormed for items to bring on our filming day to ensure that we could do the stop motion animation on the day itself.

Filming:

On the booking day, we started filming by arranging the light sources and camera position to ensure that we would have the perfect external conditions to begin filming with the character that we have made out of clay named Slimmie.

Total hours spent: 4 hours.

Editing:

After all of the scenes are taken and uploaded to each of us, now begins the editing stage of the project. We cleared up with the lecturer that only one of the group members will be editing the video. Georgina volunteered to complete the Editing stage.

She listed down the sound effects and voice-over needed just like what we've learned in Project 01: Audio Editing Exercises.

After she had created a list for her own organisation. She begins the stage by adding the necessary audio, sound effects, and voice-over to each of the scenes. For more in-depth editing explanation please click on Georgina's blog link.
